The location was great, walking distance into the old town, spent 4 nights in a beautiful superior double room over looking the garden and pool, the photos do not do it justice. The owners were really helpful and welcoming. Helped me print off boarding passes, and even my washing came back with a repair done! Wine and Tapas, or afternoon tea can be had around the small private pool. The building is really grand and exceptionally decorated, nothing tacky about this place. Great breakfast too.
I loved the granite detail throughout the external & internal fabric of the house, in particular, around the windows and around the edges of our bedroom floor. Our bathroom was in an annexe off our room and contained lots of granite details. The garden and pool were accessed directly through the dining room and the hallway leading to same. The house was located on a street, not far from the centre of town but had the feeling inside and in the garden area, of a detached house in attractive leafy suburbs. There was a calm, restful air throughout.
La casa es preciosa, comodísima, estupendamente equipada y en el centro de Ponte de Lima, la piscina y el jardín ideales, el desayuno exquisito (las mejores mermeladas caseras que hemos tomado) al igual que las cenas en el jardín.
Todo buenísimo, pero lo mejor de la casa es Constança que está siempre pendiente de que todo esté perfecto, te hace sentir como si estuvieras en tu propia casa, sin duda el personal es lo mejor de Casa Pinheiro.
Estuvimos seis dias en agosto 2012 y nos sentimos muy satisfechos por esa elección. Magnífica casa, habitaciones muy grandes, camas grandes y muy confortables, desayunos, comidas y cenas inmejorables. El trato excelente. La cocina a cargo de Constanza i Lucia són de lo mejor que hemos encontrado (calidad-precio), no sólo en Portugal si no también en España. El pueblo donde està la casa, Ponte de Lima, és el más antiguo de Portugal y puedes pasear por su puente romano, bañarte en su rio Lima, ir en canoa, etc.
Perfeita estadia, simpatia e preocupação constante dos proprietários com o bem estar e comodidade dos hospedes, pequenos almoços excelentes e variados, quartos excelentemente mobilados cómodos e de uma limpeza imaculada!
... O acerto às vezes e cada vez mais, é um acaso. Não sei quando, mas sei que vamos voltar.

Quando a nossa intenção ao procurar-vos, foi a de encontar um alojamento familiar para uma estadia tranquila, que nos proporcionasse um descanso efectivo e simultâneamente nos colocasse perto e à mão de tudo que é o Norte profundo, e quando, para além de encontramos isso mesmo, deparamos ainda e usufruimos também de trato fidalgo, das preocupações da Senhora Dona Maria da Natividade e da Constança para que, sem ninguém dar por isso tudo estivesse sempre bem, impõem-nos os mimos de que disfrutamos, o dever de opinar e de fazê-lo no sítio próprio: aqui!
